About Me
I am a life-long artist who grew up in Bridgewater and Sandwich, Massachusetts. A graduate of Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMASS-Dartmouth) with a BFA degree in Visual Design, I had a 30+ year career as a technical illustrator and graphic artist in the very demanding defense industry both in Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Then with downsizing at Lockheed came my opportunity to return to the first love of my life "painting"! Silver Lining Arts was born to represent my mother's idea that every cloud has a silver lining! After several years as a decorative artist I found my way back to canvas. I am now usig just my name instead of Silver Lining Arts as it was confusing and made me sound like a company instead of an individual. Painting in acrylics, I specialize in scenes out of my childhood on Cape Cod and New England, custom home portraits of your family homestead and historical places. I have found my true calling and am fullfilled as an artist. My studio is in Townsend, MA where I live with my very understanding husband Andy and our baby-cat Joey.
